ok...st.john island cr...i caught nth except some pesky little brown groupers.
my dad caught a couple of good sized parrot fishes.

moving on..
again and again, I've been disappointed by fish n chips, grilled fish sold outside, especially Aston's NUS branch. Here's my word of advice, stick to selling steak, DO NOT sell any fish unless you are bringing in quality fish. Get rid of all the cheapo fish fillets.

some say theres this place called MadJack selling aussie fish n chips.
i went to their Clementi branch called PK express
which was rubbish. the batter was thick and oily. The uncle selling it was quarreling with his wife and the portions served varies every second.
people like this should quit their jobs and go drown themselves.

Salmon too expensive? I found a nice alternative.

Toman, AKA Snakehead
its a freshwater fish commonly used in XO sliced fish/fish head beehoon.
this fish's got a unique flavour, firm but smooth meat and without the muddy taste common in freshwater fishes.
now i just need to know how to remove the bones from the fillet, just can't seem to pull them out.
